Right now we are looking for an experienced Digital Analyst/ Social Media Analyst to help us source and collect data from our platforms and various distributions systems and transform it into knowledge for business insights. The right person for this role has experience in a data analysis or content performance at a large digital publisher or social media platform, including experience analyzing organic content performance.
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
Collect data from a variety of sources and communicate findings to different internal departments on a regular and ad-hoc basis (including PR and communication, platform partnerships, production, sales partnerships).
Work with our sales and business development teams to support client pitches, campaign analysis and overall assessment of various content formats.
Proactively highlight interesting trends in internal data across all our platforms, both on a platform and brand level as well as video or page level.
Deep-dive into YouTube channels, TikTok, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook pages insights to surface optimization strategies and support implementation of best practices in publishing and content creation.
Prepare specific data reports and talking points, in advance of external and internal events.
Monitor and audit data quality, provide suggestions in data circulation in the company.
Understand and surface different challenges and best practices for specific markets and platforms.
Examples of questions you will be part of:
What was the overall engagement performance of a 2 months campaign on Bright Side?
What is the best publishing schedule for video content on Twitter?
What are interesting Pinterest data-points that our communication team can use to develop external best practices?
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a Digital Analyst/Social Media Analyst, working with data insights or content performance team at a large digital publisher or online video platform, including experience analyzing organic content performance
A love for numbers and everything related to data analysis
High level of self-motivation and proactive attitude towards challenges
Ability to take on responsibilities and meet deadlines within a fast-paced and innovative environment
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to crunch large sets of data
Excellent knowledge in data processing tools, including Excel or similar applications
A talent in turning complex numbers and calculations into easily understandable charts and diagrams
A thorough understanding of digital video platform metrics and interface (Facebook Creator Studio, YouTube and Google analytics)
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and collaborate with a variety of departments
Acute interest for social media platform optimization and best practices
An experience in development of social media channel or page is considered as advantage
Bachelors degree in statistics, business or communication field will be considered as advantage
Strong communication skills, fluency in English language (both written and verbal)
