Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to level up your career in accounting? Look no further! We are seeking for a detail-oriented Studio Financial Accountant with strong analytical and operational skills. The role will be to support TheSoul Publishing Riga Studio by performing full-cycle accountancy, tax & payroll activities as well as ongoing finance projects.

What you will do:

• Enter purchase details into our accounting system

• Coordinate inventory audits and report on findings

• Assist with the local monthly payroll and submit all local payroll taxes

• Assist with the local management accounts to ensure accuracy and timely submission

• Communicate with studio Buyers to ensure purchases stay within the budget

• Assist with preparation and/or review of inventory and fixed asset trend reports

• Assist with quarterly and annual budget preparation and monthly financial closings

• Assist with ad-hoc finance reports, provide insights for data-driven commercial decisions

• Assist with VAT returns to ensure accuracy and timely submission

• Assist with Corporation Income Tax Declarations to ensure accuracy and timely submission

• Assist with global finance projects run from HQ.

What we look for:

• 3+ years of Financial Accounting / Payroll experience

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements

• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

• High level of integrity and ethics to maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations

• Collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (preferred but not required)

• ACA, ACCA qualification (preferred but not required)

• English and Latvian at full working proficiency
